Deepfakes allow the ability to alter a person’s face thus making it seem as though they are saying and doing things that they have not actually done. It has a puppet-like ability that can put words in anyone’s mouth. Consequently, Deepfakes walk a fine line between allowing for creative expression and negative intention.
